Top 5 – Home Alone Songs

You are not going to believe this but I haven’t been out for ages.

It’s a really weird feeling when u don’t see anyone and you decide 2 be on your own.

I called it HOME, my cool social experiment.

Since March I spoke to no one and had my food delivered, cool huh!

And then today I went online and what I found really amazing was that so many people, friends even colleagues were available by email, phone even video calling.

It’s like everybody went on holiday while I did a social experiment staying home.

“I called it HOME.
My cool social experiment.”

Anyways, I’m coming out of hibernation and looking forward to going to a Cubs game, having some group dinners and hitting the clubs later tonight…..wait…..what? a virus? everybody at home….compulsory?….since March? ,you’re kidding right?….wtf…

S**t, here’s my top 5 home songs in no particular order.

After the riotous release of ‘Burning Down The House’ Talking Heads next release was in David Byrne’s words… a love song, an avoided topic until now because it is “kinda big.” Never higher than 51 in US and UK charts the song is a masterpiece of harmonies & hope  and was also used in the movie Wall Street and Sean Penn’s movie of the same name.  MK

Yeah, I loved ‘Roadies’. Colson, Richard MGK or whatever it is today hit a home run with this digital release track alongside X Ambassadors and Bebe Rexha

John Legend was on the original chorus of this collaboration with Coldplays Chris Marrtin. Do we like it? I still don’t know and I played it a hundred times.

UK band Fine Young Cannibals debuted their pop rock Ska Jazz mix with this story of a runaway. Just watch Roland Gifts mouth at the beginning, awesome!

You take a song that’s in the bin, create an album around it & then create a Billboard Dance Chart number 1 and DJ staple around the world. Enough said.
